We'll list the Haunted Houses and attractions, then events, then the more adult-oriented shows. This list will be updated as we get closer to Halloween, 2024. Happy Halloween month, y’all!
Haunted Houses and similar
Most of these seasonal venues are open for all of October but this varies, so be sure to check individual dates and book tickets in advance where possible. Also be sure to check any age restrictions or if it’s appropriate for your kids - the experiences vary in terms of how intense they are.

The Tarot Hearse
Gracious Bakery on St Charles Avenue (check website for times).
The only place in the world where you can get your tarot cards read inside of a hearse!

Howl-O-Weenie Dog Costume Contest
3pm @ Dat Dog Magazine
See dressed-up pups strut the 'dog walk' & support Zeus' Rescues. Artists and designers will be judging. Lots of dog- and family-friendly fun!

Krewe of Boo!
Krewe of BOO! became New Orleans' Official Halloween Parade in 2007 and since then has grown to be a spooktacular weekend of Halloween-themed events, combining the magnitude of Mardi Gras with the macabre theatrics of All Hallow's Eve.
