Wise up to these fry-ups...
Fish Fry Fridays
Lent: that magical time in Louisiana when alligator is transformed into fish, for the next month or so, at least. Obviously, we’re all in need of even more ways to eat seafood, and the Catholic tradition of giving up meat means that many of our local churches offer excellent-value fish fries on Fridays. Some of them branch out into baked macaroni and pizza, but for the purists, it’s all about the fish. Here’s where you can grab yourself a plate in Orleans Parish over the next few weeks.
