New Orleans’ Autumn calendar of events is always a fun mix - obviously the city goes hard for Halloween (see our separate round up right here!) but here’s a list of some other highlights coming up in October:

​New Orleans Fried Chicken Festival

Over 50 participating restaurants showcasing their unique spins on the iconic Southern dish. More info

Gretna Heritage Fest

The Steve Miller Band, Blue Oyster Cult and Galactic head up this annual, family-friendly festival. More info

The Crescent City Chamber Music Festival

Classical music festival that includes several free concerts. More info

​Oktober Fest New Orleans, City Park
German-themed frivolity with beer steins for all. More info

Gentilly Fest
This free family festival features live music on three stages, showcasing the amazing talents of our local musicians. More info

The Dirty Dozen Brass Band among the bands over two days of funk. More info

Sweet Potato Fest

Halloween Fest

Howl-O-Weenie Dog Costume Fest
