June Happenings: Father’s Day + Happy Hour Specials

Ahead of Father’s Day and the kick-off of summer this weekend, we wanted to pass along some fun happenings to do with Dad around town...

Father’s Day
Ayu Bakehouse will continue its tradition of holiday treats with stenciled bread loaves and croissant bowties filled with chocolate and whiskey cream.

​Porgy’s will lead a seafood class on June 27th at 6:30pm where attendees can explore a variety of Gulf fish while preparing (and enjoying) a multi-course dinner at the “Taste the Rainbow”. Tickets ($165; here) include a welcome cocktail and drinks throughout.

Happy hours
Join Porgy’s for happy hour (Monday-Friday 4:30-6:30pm) with case-price oysters on the half shell, chargrilled oysters, and an assortment of bar snacks. Full menu HERE

TANA just rolled out a new happy hour (Monday-Friday, 4:30-6pm) featuring wood-fired pizzas, specialty cocktails, spirits, and wine and beer on tap. Full menu HERE

Cure offers multiple opportunities throughout the week to imbibe at a discounted price - (4-6pm and 9:30pm-close Sunday-Thursday) and (3-6pm Friday & Saturday). Full menu HERE  
In addition to happy hour, Cure is also running a “Markdown Mondays” special where they select one special, super premium bottle each week, and pour as many 1 oz pours as they can until it’s gone. These pours are exceptionally unique, expensive, and rare spirits from their expansive collection. The lineup rotates, and is every-changing, ranging from Thomas Handy Rye to Weller 12 Year Bourbon, Jefferson’s Tropical Aged Bourbon, Four Roses LA Private Selection OBSV Bourbon, and Old Cater American Whiskey Batch 12, just to namedrop a few of these baller bottles.
