WHO/WHAT: Executive Chef Marcus Woodham is turning up the heat and kicking off Summer at The Bower with a “Summer Surf & Turf Lunch” - a delightful two-course lunch special on Friday, June 14th. Guests can enjoy a specially curated menu showcasing seasonal ingredients, meats, and seafood priced at $45 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). The menu follows:
First Course (choice of..) Clam Bruschetta smoked pancetta, fennel, preserved lemon chimichurri Beef Carpaccio radish, frisee (curly endive), pecorino romano, white truffle & lobster vinaigrette Burrata jumbo lump crab, peaches, basil, chorizo dust, toasted baguette Second Course (choice of..) Petit Filet peakytoe crab raviolo, sauce bearnaise Spicy Mussels pesto, peaches, rose, nduja aioli, fry bread Lobster Salad lil gem lettuce, parmesan, avocado, heirloom tomato, corn, egg, & bacon green goddess dressing Imbibe on seasonal libations from Beverage Director Mickey Mullins while you enjoy your lunch. Ranging from $14-16 per cocktail, enjoy the Mood Ring with vodka, vanilla beam lemonade, and butterfly pea flower; Magazine Margarita with house strawberry tequila, lime, and triple sec; and Kissed by a Rose with vodka, rose syrup, orgeat, lemon, and absinthe spray. WHEN/WHERE: The Summer Surf and Turf lunch will take place on Friday, June 14th, from 11 AM - 1 PM. This will be the only food menu, alongside the bar and wine list, during lunch service.
