Bayou Boogaloo
The annual music and arts festival takes over Mid City. Big local names such as Quintron, Morning 40 Federation and Big Sam’s Funky Nation mix it up with comedy, local artists and food vendors. More info

Greek Fest
More Mid City action along the banks of Bayou St John with this annual celebration of our local Greek community. Live folk music, traditional Greek dancing, and of course all manner of Mediterranean foods take center stage at a family-friendly weekend. More info

Time To Play
An all-adult night at Carousel Gardens in City Park. This annual event aims to bring together nonprofit organizations and the general public to create a soft entry point for volunteering. Discover organizations we may be interested in serving, supporting, or utilizing their services. More info

NOLA River Fest
Now its 11th year, the Nola River Fest “celebrates the cultural, economic, environmental, and inspirational impacts of the Mississippi River and its inhabitants” on New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. More info

Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation presents the 2024 Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival, celebrating the rich musical traditions of Southwestern Louisiana. More info

JUNE
5th-9th
New Orleans Food and Wine Experience (NOWFE)
This year is the 32nd year of this huge festival that attracts chefs and wine makers from across the world. Expect cooking demonstrations, tasting events, and talks. More info

7th-9th
New Orleans Pride
Parties, galas and the parade itself take place across the weekend. Look out also for themed community events and talks as well as a doggy fashion show. More info

8th-9th
French Market Creole Tomato Festival
Do you like tomatoes and tomato-related foods? If you answered yes, then this is the festival for you. Tomatoes. Bloody Marys. Probably some weird stand that serves tomato ice cream or something. You get the idea. More info

Americas Continental Selection 2024 For Pastry World Cup & Bocuse d'Or
The most prestigious international culinary and pastry competition, showcasing the best pastry chefs and cooks from all over the American continent. More info

Kolaj Fest
Proving that there’s no pastime too esoteric to have a festival for, this two-day event is billed as “a coming together of collage artists and art professionals”. It’s a symposium on contemporary collage and its role in art, culture, and society. More info

Restaurant Week New Orleans
There has to be some benefits of being in town as the temperatures get less and less appealing, and this is one of them. Expect affordable, curated, multi-course menus from some of the best restaurants in the city. More info
